Plot A: Joyce Phyllis (Robinson) Praetorius, 1919-2002 (9/12/1919 – 5/30/2002)

Praetorius – Joyce Phyllis (Robinson), age 82, of Bloomington. Preceded in death by husband, Pastor E. Russell Praetorius and sister, Lois Robinson. Survived by children, Susan K. (Bill) Hobson, Christine A. (William) Haynes, Jill E. (Mark) Jungers and Pastor John R. (Laurie) Praetorius; grandchildren, Scott, Lisa, Matthew, Laura, Stephen, Julie, Michelle, Jeffrey, Melissa, Joy, Matthew and Robert, great-grandchildren, Chantelle, Elena and Hannah Joyce; sister, Georgia (Bill) Gilliland, special friends, Carol Murray and the Engel family. Faced with many physical trials, Joyce rose above them with a steadfast faith in God and an indomitable will. On May 30, she passed peacefully into eternal life surrounded by her loving family. The world has lost a first-class lady and heaven has gained a long-suffering angel. Memorial service Tuesday, 7 p.m. at Hillcrest United Methodist Church 9100 Russell Ave. S., Bloomington.
