OBITUARIES

Plot A: Conrad Albrecht Aszmann, 1886-1894 (12/24/1886 – 12/10/1894)

Conrad Albrecht Aszmann was born December 24th 1886 in Minnesota to German parents John and Louisa (Lehman) Aszmann. He died December 10th 1894 of diphtheria in West Saint Paul at the age of 7 years and 10 months. Conrad was interred in lot 20 of Salem EV Kirchhof. [WSP]

Plot B: Mary Frances (Hoppe) Aszmann, 1867-1895 (11/24/1867 – 5/26/1895)

Died, Mrs. Mary Aszmann (Hoppe), wife of C. L. Aszmann, died Sunday evening at 7 o’clock, of consumption, aged 25 years.  She has been a sufferer of the disease for two years, and part of the past year has been confined to her bed.  She leaves a husband and two small children, both boys, to mourn her loss.  The funeral will be held from the West Saint Paul German Evangelical Church tomorrow, at 2 o’clock, and the remains interred in the cemetery in West Saint Paul, on the German Road.  Hastings papers please copy.  [South Saint Paul Daily Reporter, Mon., 27 May 1895]
