Plot A: Baby Girl Kaun, 1877-1877
A baby girl was stillborn to parents Reverend William and Nellie Kaun, in November of 1877. She was interred in lot 2 of Salem EV Kirchhof
Plot B: William D. Kaun, 1869-1881
William D. Kaun was born December 14th 1869 in Sauk County, Wisconsin to parents Reverend William and Nellie Kaun. He died of spinal meningitis in Inver Grove Township on November 11th 1881 at the age of 12 years. [IGT]
Plot C: Walter Reuben Kaun, 1879-1879
Walter Reuben Kaun was born January 17th 1879 in West Saint Paul Township to parents Reverend William and Nellie Kaun. William was a minister and gardener born in Germany and Nellie was born in transit on the Atlantic Ocean. Walter died at the age of six months in West Saint Paul Township of cholera infantum. He was interred in lot 2 of Salem EV Kirchhof. [WSP]
Plot D: Helen “Nellie” (Mergenthaler) Kaun, 1841-1893
Helen “Nellie” (Mergenthaler) Kaun was born November 18th 1841 on the Atlantic Ocean. Both of her parents died in New York City and she was adopted, raised and educated by an English speaking family. Nellie married William Kaun October 25th 1860. She died November 16th 1893 in Sparta, Wisconsin. A husband, four sons and two daughters remain to mourn her death. Five children preceded her in death. Nellie was interred in lot 2 of Salem EV Kichhof beside three of her children. [Evangelical Messenger: 5 Dec. 1893, page 779]
Plot E: Anna Kaun, ca. 1824-1881
Anna Kaun was born in Germany circa 1824 and died June 25th 1881 in West Saint Paul Township. She was 58 years old and single when she died of apoplexy. Anna was interred at Salem EV Kirchhof. [WSP]
