The Andersons were neighbors to Old Salem and Nels helped Cyrus Zehnder with maintenance of the church and cemetery. They are not descendants.

Lillian “Lula” Henslin was born April 19th 1889. Her father was Fred Henslin. “Lula” died March 19th 1893 at the age of 3. She was interred in lot 37 of Salem EV Kirchhof

Survived by children Virginia & Elliot White, Betty Kuettner, June Collins, Carol & Brandt Worrell, Lester & Joyce Anderson, Sherwin & Bev Anderson, Bonnie Anderson; 25 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren. Father of Miss Bonnie, Lester and Sherwin, all of Inver Grove Heights, Mrs. E. L. (Virginia) White, Downey, Calif., Mrs. Rudy (Bette) Kuettner, Crystal, Mrs. Tom (June) Collins, Fridley, and Mrs. Brantley (Carol) Worth, Prairie du Chien, Wis., also survived by 22 grandchildren.
